Privacy policy

What personal information Kyrodex collects, why, and what you can ask for. Written in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

Last updated 18 October 2026

1.Who is responsible

Kyrodex is responsible for the personal information described here. Questions or requests about your information can be sent to connie@kyrodex.com or +27 81 324 2046.

2.What this website collects

The enquiry and interest forms on this website do not store anything. When you press send, the form opens WhatsApp or your email app with a message already written. Nothing reaches Kyrodex until you send that message yourself.

Like most websites, the hosting provider may keep standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to keep the site running and secure. This website does not use advertising cookies.

3.What you send directly

When you contact Kyrodex or become a client, the information you share may include:

  • Your name, business name, phone number and email address
  • Details about your business and the problem you want help with
  • Business records you send for an engagement, such as invoices, job files, price lists, statements and payroll records, which may include personal information about your customers, staff or suppliers

4.Why it is used

  • To reply to your enquiry and give you a quote
  • To do the work you have asked for and deliver the results to you
  • To send templates you have bought, and updates to them
  • To keep records Kyrodex is required to keep by law, such as invoices

5.Sharing

Your information is not sold, rented or shared for marketing.

It is shared only where needed to do the work you asked for, for example with your own accountant or tax practitioner at your request, with service providers that host email and files, or where the law requires it.

6.How long it is kept

Enquiries that do not become work are deleted once they are no longer needed. Records you send for an engagement are kept for as long as the engagement needs them, then returned or deleted, unless you ask otherwise or the law requires Kyrodex to keep something longer.

7.How it is protected

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to keep your information secure, including restricting access to the people doing the work and using password-protected accounts and devices.

8.Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask:

  • Whether Kyrodex holds personal information about you, and for a copy of it
  • For incorrect information to be corrected
  • For information to be deleted where it is no longer needed or was collected without a lawful reason
  • That your information is not used for direct marketing

Send requests to connie@kyrodex.com. If you are not satisfied with the response, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.

9.Changes

This policy may be updated. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
